Kieron

The founder of the Dragaeran Empire. Also known as "Kieron the Conqueror".
While Zerika the First was the first emperor, it is possible that Kieron was the second, and the first Dragon emperor. It is known that Kieron's (probable) descendent, Kieron the Younger was emperor of the second Dragon reign.
Kieron's actions included an event referred to as the Great March, which was apparently a campaign against the Eastern Kingdoms. It is expected that he would have carried his Greatsword on this campaign, which probably explains why Sethra the Younger wanted it many years later.
The e'Kieron line of Dragonlords is descended from Kieron. There are very few e'Kierons still alive; most were killed in Adron's Disaster.
Kieron himself was a part of the tribe that included Dolivar (his brother), Drien, and Sethra Lavode. Aliera e'Kieron is reincarnated from another of Kieron's siblings.
Kieron himself died at the hands of a group of Lyorn warriors and Shamans, who were angry with him about the creation of the House of Jhereg.
Kieron remained on the Paths of the Dead (rather than reincarnating). Vlad Taltos, Morrolan e'Drien, and Aliera e'Kieron met him there (in Taltos). Aliera demanded his Greatsword, and received it.
