Vlad Taltos' secretary and bodyguard during the time he worked for the Jhereg Organization. Melestav eventually betrayed Vlad during a Jhereg power struggle, and Kragar subsequently killed him. Despite the betrayal, Vlad later found he bore no grudge against Melestav.
