Talk:Book list
From the Lyorn Records of the Dragaeran Empire
How come everyone always needs to point out that Dragon comes before and after Yendi, but no one tries to explain the relationship between all of Jhereg's and Taltos's flashbacks and the rest of the series? By my count, Jhereg comes before and after Yendi and Dragon, and before and after Taltos, and Taltos likewise comes before and after Jhereg. And possibly part of Taltos comes in the middle of Dragon, due to the wackiness of time in the Paths of the Dead and Barritt already being there.
Really. Given all that, why *do* we need to say anything about Dragon's position respective to Yendi? It's nearly the least complicated.
I guess it was because Brust took pains to point out that Dragon comes before and after Yendi. The whole this is being narrated after Yendi, too. I'd have left it before, personally. Otherwise we might have to have a lot of duplicates. - Rook
I was considering adding a section for the 'bastard child' dragaeran books: Dzurlord and the Jhereg graphic novel. Thoughts? Dzurlord might be worthwhile, since Steve has stuck by some of the facts in the introduction. The graphic novel only to warn people away for damage to their souls. Any thoughts?- Attjen
Hmmm. I was considering adding some of Alexx's other speculation for each future book onto its own page (ie. "Lyorn (book) (Speculation)"), but maybe there should just be a future book speculation page? or even just put the stuff on the Vlad Taltos speculation page? What do you all think? - Attjen
While I don't think each book needs its own speculation page, It might get in the way of other--more informed--speculation if we dumped it all on the Vlad (spec) page. I think a "Future Books (Speculation)" page is the way to go here. --Majikjon 17:11, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Since according to Brust's blog, the revisions for Jhegaala have been approved, I've removed the "working title" from the listing. I have also added Iorich as the working title for the next volume, based again on the blog.
