In Hawk, chapter 7 (Making Small Talk or Making Waves), Vlad writes "the desk that Melestav used to sit at before I killed him." In Phoenix chapter (lesson) 12 (Basic Survival Skills), it's Kragar who kills him when he attempts to shine Vlad. - I think it's fair to assume that Vlad is referring to the same event here. He is not always precise in his recollections in any case, but here I think him saying "I killed Melestav" is more in reference to him taking responsibility for creating the situation that led to Melestav betraying him. He feels responsibility for the death, even though it may have been Kragar that did the actual deed. --Majikjon (talk) 16:22, January 21, 2019 (UTC)
