I intentionaly left out the name "Killer Whale" as it has not been used in the books (AFAIK) and is declining in use in the real world. The Wikipedia article covers the alternate names. --Hai-Etlik 23:31, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)

One of Kathy's comments states that the Dragaeran orca is "not a whale, just a mean parallel-evolution sea-nasty. It does have gills [...]". I think it's reasonable to conclude that she received that description from SKZB, so I think it therefore reasonable to word the article based on that.
