Prime Minister or Discrete? I haven't made it back to Sethra Lavode in my re-reading, but I thought it was the latter.

He becomes Prime Minister at the end of Sethra Lavode. - Rook

Is he both then? He's definitely serving as a discrete for Zerika during parts of Viscount. I'll have to hurry up my reading I guess...

Zerika takes him on as Discreet at the beginning of Sethra Lavode, and fires him from that post twice -- once for, she suspects, having revealed one of her secrets, and then again at the end when she re-hires him as Prime Minister.

By the way, the word is "Discreet", not "Discrete". "Discrete" means discontinuous or separated. Steve the Younger 11:07, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
