I think it's fantastic... but a bit speculative, no? Got examples? - Attjen

Mostly it's drawn from the description of the construction of the Imperial Palace at the beginning of The Phoenix Guards. (The historical bit about Faarith and Jamiss, Pgs 29-30) (Also, see the note on enforcement of taxation laws on page 78.) Granted, it's generalizing from only one example, but everyone generalizes from one example. I know I do. --Majikjon 16:05, 7 Nov 2005 (UTC)
The pages look good, I think it's not overly speculative on the whole actually. More like informed guesses. They give a framework for how the cycle might change.
Incidentally, it would be cool to have a "Cycle" link on the bottom to flip through the cycle (like we can with the books). Not sure if I'm quick enough to figure out how to do it. - Attjen
Done, and done. I might do a spec page that goes into the cycle in greater detail, as there seems to be a very good flow from house to house in most cases--each house in turn picking up from the failings of the previous one. --Majikjon 20:28, 8 Nov 2005 (UTC)
