Are these doors made of Metal?
It seemed to me when Vlad showed up there in Issola, he commented on carvings on the door, which would seem to imply wood, rather than metal?

Re the doors:
It says carvings, which I've added to the article, but I note that it also says "white on white", which doesn't sound like wood, either (although perhaps a very pale birch wood?).
Maybe they're ivory? Vlad does mention seeing in one of the carvings something which we might recognize as an elephant, although he doesn't seem to know that animal.
Anyway, I suggest leaving out any material in the description. Vlad doesn't know, so we don't either.

Bah. I'm an idiot. Vlad hits the doors with Spellbreaker, with the clank of "metal against wood".
And there's no reason Verra can't paint any kind of wood white.
