Side-Captain Vonnith (also Countess of Licotta and Baroness of T'rae) of House Orca is a rich banker who owns a handful of banks near Northport. She profited directly from suddenly closing her banks, and conspired with Shortisle, Reega and others to find ways to keep the money.

Aside from giving up the deed to Hwdf'rjaanci's property, she appears to have gotten entirely away with the scam.

We aren't quite sure what a Side-Captain is.
